Volunteering can benefit you and your community in many ways. Whether it’s gaining experience, meeting new people or using your skills to help others it can be a fulfilling way to spend your time and build your wellbeing!

In this session you’ll learn how to find the right volunteer role for you, and the steps to get started. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or considering volunteering for the first time, this session is for you!

Volunteer West is the volunteer resource centre of Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) and the only one in Melbourne’s Western Region. Volunteer West will be joined by local organisations including Uniting AgeWell, Point Cook Lions Club, Whitelion / Kids First Australia, and the Salvos to discuss volunteering in different sectors. After the presentation you’ll have the opportunity to chat with these organisations about their work in Wyndham, their volunteer programs, and how you can get involved. Refreshments will be provided.

Please RSVP to secure your spot. Space is limited, so don’t miss out on this chance to explore how you can make a meaningful impact in your community!
