Join the Werribee Riverkeeper for a guided nature walk along the river trail at Presidents Park.

This expansive parkland is a haven for urban birds and wildlife, with huge river red gums and restored areas of woodland plants.

The river is home to one of Australia’s most incredible and elusive creatures, the platypus. Find out about this amazing animal and how we can help to ensure its survival.

Learn about the waterways, rivers and wetlands in this region, and discover how you can join your river community to help care for these special places and protect biodiversity for future generations.
