Junubi Wyndham
In 2018 the Victorian Government established community support group Junubi Wyndham to support the South Sudanese youung people and their families and link them to activities & services.
Activities include:
- Youth outreach
- Parenting program
- Linking to education & training and employment pathways
- Youth Leadership programs
- After school recreation & leisure activities Holiday programs and Homework Clubs
Junubi Wyndham (JW) is funded the Victorian Government and auspiced by Wyndham CEC.
JW is is staffed by a Program Manager, a Coordinator, Project Officers and Youth Workers, all from South Sudanese backgrounds. Our work is guided by community consultation and supported by a local reference group of 10 members who meet monthly to share ideas and make recommendations
