September
The Wyndham Learning Festival is an annual event held from 1-7 September, offering free learning activities across various locations in Wyndham. Since 2016, it has brought together local groups, businesses, and individuals to deliver a wide range of workshops, seminars, and experiences for all ages.
Led by Wyndham Community & Education Centre and supported by Wyndham City Council, the Festival aims to promote lifelong learning and personal growth.
Each year, it adopts a new theme to reflect the community’s evolving needs, continuing to grow with new events, sponsors, and participants.
Community, Diversity, & Lifelong Learning
Free Events for All Ages

The Wyndham Learning Festival features free events designed by the community, for the community.
These events provide opportunities to explore new activities, develop skills, and have fun while learning.
New event hosts, sponsors, and anyone interested in being part of this vibrant community are always welcome.
Building a Resilient Community Through Learning
A united community is a resilient one. Facing challenges together makes us stronger.
The Festival aims to unite the community through the joy of learning and inspire everyone to try new things.
Learning should be a lifelong habit, and there’s something for all ages—whether in early years, school years, as a young adult, or as a senior.

Lifelong Learning Beyond the Classroom

Learning is a lifelong journey that goes far beyond classrooms and schools.
Learning can take place in many forms, at any time, and in any setting.
Learning continues throughout life, no matter the age or stage.
A Festival for Everyone
The Festival offers a wide range of learning opportunities that match the needs and interests of everyone in the Wyndham community.
When we learn and grow together, the community becomes stronger and more connected.
Wyndham is proud to be a Learning City, recognised as part of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.
This honour highlights the commitment to lifelong learning and the belief that education is a fundamental right for all.
Growing Together

Each year, the aim is to expand the Festival by gaining more community support, launching exciting new events, and welcoming new sponsors and participants.
The focus is on celebrating the diversity and energy of Wyndham’s learning community.
Celebrating Community Achievements
The Wyndham Learning Festival highlights the achievements of our community.
It showcases the talents and skills of people from all walks of life.
The Festival celebrates the generosity of those who share their knowledge, inspiring others to learn and grow.
Through workshops, performances, and exhibitions, it shines a light on local success stories.
The goal is to encourage everyone to be part of Wyndham’s vibrant learning community.

I would like to say just how much I enjoyed today's events, exhibitions and presentations. Prior to attending I had no idea exactly what happened there [Wyndham CEC], but took away with me not only a better understanding, but immense gratitude for the work that is being done and especially, HOW it is being done. Happiness is the key! What a fantastic learning environment you have created.
Kindest regards."
